Make way for the class of 2024! This amazing teen has just graduated from high school, and she's ready to shine! Here are some stunning images from my Senior Session with Summer. Check it out!
Summer was kind of nervous for her senior session. I completely understood her concerns, so before we started, I did my best to make sure that she was comfortable and relaxed. After all, it was just going to be me and her mom, and in the end, she had a blast!
While brainstorming for the session, Summer told me NO fields. You got it, girl! Not everyone likes fields of flowers, but we ended up making Summer's session her own by going to a football field!
The South Panola High School Football Field had everything we needed and more to show off Summer's school spirit. Summer is super involved in her school's band, so it was a must for her to capture some photos in her uniform!
We also went to The Square in Batesville, MS. This area had everything we needed to show off Summer's artsy and eclectic personality. From storefronts to train tracks, there was plenty of fun places for us to pose at!
Post-graduation, Summer is going to college at Northwest, and then she'll be headed to MSU to pursue meteorology. She's already reaching for the stars, and pretty soon, she's going to grab them!
Throughout her academic journey, Summer is bound to make even more memories. One thing she's learned through high school is to document those precious moments as they happen. That way, you'll be have tangible proof of who you were!
Summer's perspective on memory keeping is exactly why I love being a photographer. Capturing memories in a high-quality, heirloom image just makes all of your memories that much more precious.
To spice things up, I made sure that Summer had the freedom to personalize her session. Whether it was bringing her trumpet to the field or wearing her red and blue jersey, we made sure to highlight her interests so when she looks at these photos in twenty years, she'll remember the very best parts of her high school experience.
If anyone deserves to toot her own horn, it's Summer! Congratulations on hitting such an important milestone in your life. I know you're going to shine bright. Best of luck in all your future endeavors!
