Congratulations on your engagement, Mallory and Cain! These two lovebirds were so ready for our engagement session in Memphis, TN. To get these inspiring photos, we went to the Dixon Gallery and Gardens in Memphis for some gorgeous romantic shots, as well as the Shelby County Courthouse for a more high-end vibe.

 

 

Cain is a very good friend of mine, so it makes me so happy to see that he's found the love of his life! We went to school together, so being able to take their engagement photos was so special for me. Mallory is such a sweetheart, and they are just perfect together!

 

 

Cain and Mallory actually met on a blind date! They were set up by a pair of siblings who clearly knew what they were doing, because these two have been inseparable ever since.


"We sat in the booth for 3 hours and just talked about everything under the sun (we could have stayed longer but the restaurant was closing). He came to Grenada later that week and we knew from then on that this was something special." ~ Mallory

 

 

"It was crazy to see the Lord orchestrate this relationship so clearly and how perfect His timing was. He has blessed us immensely throughout our relationship! We dated for a little over a year before he proposed." ~Mallory

 

 

That proposal went against everything Mallory always thought and imagined, but looking back, she wouldn't have it any other way. Way to go, Cain!


"It was just the two of us, no elaborate setup or pressure from an over the top engagement party... It was simple, sweet, and perfect. We are so excited to start this new journey!" ~ Mallory

 

 

The day of the session was pretty perfect, too. The weather was nice, and the tulips were out! Love was totally in the air because of a wedding that happened among the Dixon Tulips, but we were still able to find some secluded areas to show off this couple!

 

 

I also loved the statement of the Shelby County Courthouse. We played around with so many poses and locations that we truly got some winners! Although to be honest, every single shot was a winner. It was so hard to choose their final photos!

 

 

In the end, this gallery turned out to be a 10 out of 10! Cain and Mallory are planning to display these photos at the reception, hang them up in their home, and on their social medias and wedding website.

 

 

I'm still so humbled by how much Cain and Mallory enjoyed their session and all of the fun moments we captured together.
